For the past 20 years Ian Williams has worked in public relations, communication roles and various forms of the media.

 

Based on the Sunshine Coast since 1997, Ian’s experience has been gained through positions in Canada, the U.S. and Australia. His key areas of specialization include media advisory roles, community relations and consultation and event management.

 

Most recently, Ian co-managed the successful campaign of Sunshine Coast mayor, Bob Abbot. From the campaign launch in December 2007 to the victory party in March 2008, the brand creation to the website (bigbob.com.au), Ian managed Bob’s policy releases, media liaison and all public appearances.

 

Ian continues to apply his renowned communication and interpersonal skills to a wide ranging media and sponsorship network. He has a passion for his craft and provides innovative and original media strategies.
